FAR Reporting
In today's Federal Register, the FAR Council published a revision to FAR clause 52.223-2, Affirmative Procurement of Biobased Products Under Service and Construction Contracts. The revision requires services and construction contractors to report their purchases of biobased products to the new reporting portal within the System for Award Management (SAM). It also deletes the section requiring agencies to provide the an environmental point of contact. The new rule has a September 3, 2013 effective date. The FR notice is attached.
