As of October 2014, approximately 2,100 biobased products in more than 187 product categories have received certification to display the USDA Certified Biobased Product label. Certified products include construction, cleaning, automotive, lubricants, and personal care products that consumers use every day. To locate USDA Certified Biobased Products, try one of the options listed below.

1. Find certified biobased products at your local retailer or service provider. The label should help in identifying certified products.
2. Search the USDA BioPreferred Catalog for information on biobased products available for purchase. This Catalog assists users in identifying certified products whose biobased content have been third-party tested and verified. Although you cannot purchase a product directly from this Catalog, sourcing information such as product detail and the company website are provided. This symbol in the Catalog indicates that the product has been USDA certified.
3. Request that your local retailer or service provider carry and/or use USDA Certified Biobased Products. For example, ask your automotive service provider to offer certified biobased motor oil and lubricant selections.
